While the Major 6 (∆6) and Minor 7 (-7) applications of the pentatonic scale are quite common, I often find improvisers not knowing how to use this information in a tonal ii V I setting to their advantage. Because the pentatonic scale is SO versatile, learning different modes and alterations of it can really help to give you a tool kit of scales and sounds that you can draw from to improvise in a truly personal way. The skillsets offered here are ones that I hear regularly incorporated by modern masters of improvisation.
With slow and fast backing and practice tracks for over 100 playing examples as well as video explanations for each piece type of pentatonic and its application you are sure to glean many new insights on how to approach improvising in all situations after completing this course 🎶💡🚀
