Practicing for the gig is the way to go. It will always make the experience of playing the gig the most enjoyable so you are doing the right thing there. I think some of the stuff in the studio here could definitely help you be a ‘gig player’ especially if you apply it to the tunes you’re working on for your performances. Glad to hear you’re going to be getting to it and appreciate your honesty of not having gotten around to it yet. All in good time!
