Steve K – Saxophonist
Hi! I’m Steve Kortyka, Professional Saxophonist living in NYC. Currently I am a full time Performer and Teacher and I have always been drawn to improvisation since the very first time I realized you can just ‘make it up’ on the spot! Saxophone is my main instrument but I have been working on guitar a lot lately also. I love that it allows me to view the world from a beginner’s point of view again as I find the guitar to be incredibly difficult!
Curious if there are any guitar players/multi instrumentalists in here 🤔

I played Ukulele for a while – I could even play Stairway to Heaven and Space Oddity. I have a proper tenor Ukulele packed away somewhere. Does that count?!
