Well, after 45 years of not being very good at improv, there is no mistaking that this will take some time. 😂 Of course, to be fair, after my first 10 years, I didn’t play at all for about 35 years or so.
I do track what I practice every day in Andante. I started tracking in a log book a couple years ago. Now I do it digitally. It is helpful to see where I’ve been and where I am going. I’m sure I will get better at how best to use this info as we move forward.
And I will work on something at least 20 minutes, and often more. Like today, over an hour on those #$&@# enclosures. I had every intention to record a post today. But no. I just can’t pull it out of my head to my fingers fast enough yet. <sigh>
I love the piano thing…. I watched that video. Maybe doing the 3/7 chords would help me. I am frustrated, but I will keep the faith. I’m looking forward to October. Thank you for believing in me.
